Welcome to our Art Program page!

My name is Susanna Ordway, and I am the Art Instructor for Twin Creeks Elementary. Working with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, my objective is to help our students explore and express their creativity through art by:

• Learning about great artists past & present

• Practicing various art techniques (painting, drawing, sculpting, etc.)

• Using different types of media (oil pastels, watercolor pigments, acrylics, etc.)

• Creating amazing and unique artwork while having fun!

Just as words are used to express our feelings and thoughts through writing, colors and shapes are used to visually express our feelings and thoughts through art. It is my hope that with our many projects, students will find their own voice and style of expression and so will gain self-confidence and inner strength.
